Welcome to Find Your Adventure

When I come back to work after an amazing adventure I am asked many questions, but the most common is - how did you find out about that event? And truth be told, the answer is usually a mixture of social media advertising algorithms and pure luck!

And from that question, this site is born. A way to share with you some amazing adventurous opportunities around the world, as well as some tips and tricks I have learned along the way.

Are these just pipe dreams for ordinary people? No way! The events I choose have several things in common. First - spectacular natural locations where you can escape from "normal" life for awhile and breathe in the magnificence of this beautiful planet. Our lives are so busy, so congested, so not our own. I have found that nothing really compares with being in wide open space, with almost no one around and just existing in the moment, in nature, moving on your own two feet.

From deserts to jungle, mountains to plains, almost every country has a multi day event that welcomes all comers. And if you know of one that is not included here, please drop me a line and let me know.

Which leads to my second criterion: accessibility. I feature events that not only tolerate slow runners and walkers but embrace them. With generous cut off (course closure) times so you can participate knowing that you are not going to be stopped mid-event. My criteria for this is a reasonable minimum pace of 4kms/hr (2.5miles/hr) which is achievable by anyone with training (Train at 5kms/3.5miles to keep a good buffer). So you can walk it or run it as you choose.

So what are you waiting for? Choose the perfect adventure for you, set up a training plan and a budget plan (real life) and live your dreams now. I look forward to sharing them with you!
